Assess quality
Look for an even weave, consistent colour, secure stitching, smooth zip operation and well-finished edges. Also check whether the fabric returns to shape after being lightly compressed.
Match texture and pattern
Fine motifs suit smooth surfaces, while bold designs can benefit from a more substantial texture. Combine different surfaces within a shared palette for depth and a premium, coordinated result.
